Resume

Orient in the repository as it stands, find the work in flight, and continue it — the prompt to reach for when nobody remembers where things were.

Rendered from the repository at vibey-engine 4.4.0; regenerated by scripts/continuation_prompts.py, do not edit inside these markers.

  • Mode when GitHub runs it weekly: act — may open a draft pull request; never merges, approves, releases or deletes.
  • What it is for: Orient in the repository as it stands and continue delivery where it left off.
  • Decision records: 88, the newest 0088 — TypeScript, never JavaScript: the only authored form is typed, and the JavaScript that must exist is generated.
  • Lanes it keeps usable: Merge train, PR evaluate, PR review, Provenance, Conventional Commits, Changelog, Skip markers, Automation bootstrap.
  • Agent skills it relies on: .claude/skills/vibey-architecture/SKILL.md, .claude/skills/vibey-domain-model/SKILL.md, .claude/skills/vibey-engine-adapters/SKILL.md, .claude/skills/vibey-testing/SKILL.md, .claude/skills/typesafe-ai/SKILL.md.

The prompt

You are continuing work on vibey, a queue-based conductor for autonomous software delivery
(https://github.com/the-vibey-project/vibey). Assume you remember nothing; the repository is
the only truth. Your working directory is a clone of it.

1. Read the law before acting. Read CLAUDE.md in full: its non-negotiables bind you. Then
   skim src/vibey_tools/gh/docs/doctrines.md for Doctrines 8, 10 and 12 — the sovereign
path is preferred (8.a), status is evidence-bounded (10.f), and unattended authority is
bounded by a gate, never by judgement (12.d).
2. Establish where things stand, from evidence only:
   - `git fetch origin` and `git log --oneline -15 origin/develop` — the integration branch.
   - `gh pr list --state open` — work in flight; a draft PR is someone's live work, never
     yours to merge or rewrite.
   - `gh run list --branch develop --limit 30` — what is red on develop. If anything is,
stop here and follow docs/continuation/keep-green.md first.
   - `gh issue list --state open --limit 50` and scripts/backlog_expectations.json — what is
owed, and which issues are operator holds (never act on a hold).
   - docs/estimate.md — the living roadmap and the delivery forecast (Doctrine 11).
3. Pick the next item: the highest-priority open issue that is not a hold, is not already
covered by an open PR, and that you can finish and prove. Say which you chose and why.
4. Deliver it the way this project delivers everything (ADR-0039, CDD): state the intent and
acceptance criteria, write the failing test, implement, run the gates, review your own
diff, repair. The gates are listed in CLAUDE.md under "Commands worth memorizing"; the
per-layer 100% branch-coverage floors are not optional. Code lives in classes with an
interface beside them (ADR-0016); domain/ stays pure (ADR-0017).
5. Land it only as a pull request into develop: a branch, Conventional Commits, a changelog
fragment under changelog.d/ when the change reaches an installed user. Never push to
develop or main, never use --no-verify or --admin, never merge or approve your own PR,
never force-push a branch you did not create.
6. Report, with evidence: what you changed, the gate results with numbers, the PR link,
and anything you declined to do and why. "Done" means the PR is green, not that you
   wrote code.

If the right action would be irreversible, would need a credential you were not given, or
would change a sub-doctrine, stop and say so: those belong to a person.
